Famous and rare modern art paintings at Statens Museum for Kunst, Copenhagen-Denmark

The National Gallery of Art in Copenhagen (Denmark) has a very special collection of famous painters, such as Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Andre Derain, Georges Braque and many others. Some of these works are classics of modern art while others are rare, seemingly paint sketches, of these great artists.

The museum itself is free, and has mostly European artists with an emphasis on Scandinavian painters. Modern art paintings are on the top floors of this Danish museum.

    Tengo un cuadro de un artista Danes, que murio el año 1920. el cuadro es precioso, tiene una señorita llegando en un bote (barqco muy pequeño) y la espera un individuo en tierra firme, es sensacional el efecto que le dió al agua del rio. El artista se llama HANS DALL. Me gustaría saber que tan preciado es. Estoy dispuesto a enviar fotografia.

  4. Can you help me locate a piece of art I think I saw in your museum. It is modern, is electrified and illuminated, yet framed. As I recall the depiction: the ground is sand and several workers are raking the sand. I cannot recall the irony that is being depicted, nonetheless it still haunts me.
